Nice Cat Deeley's Really Nice Hair

Cat Deeley is the new face and hair of Pantene Pro V and will star in their new ad campaign from August 1st.
The one-time SMTV presenter will be encouraging British women to "swoosh" their hair from side to side, just like in the good old days.

Yeah, but can Cat cut it like THESE ladies....?

">

Over the next 6 months Cat will be calling on everyone to swish their hair, culminating in a "world record breaking swish" in December at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham where Cat was first discovered as a model.
Ew. I don't mind Cat swooshing her lovely locks. But what about all those dirty, dry shampoo-using types at the Clothes Show Live, spreading their dead skin cells far and wide?

Still, excited about her new role, (and the nice pay packet that came with it), Cat said: “Has your hair ever felt so good you can’t help but swish it? - you know that elusive ‘swish’, when hair moves perfectly. It’s that beautiful, healthy looking, enviable hair that we all want – that’s what you get with new Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light.”

Christmas. Yes, Christmas.

Bloody Nora! It's been a while.
Here's what I have found out about beauty type things this week.

Went to the Debenhams Christmas Beauty preview yesterday at Kettners restaurant in London.
It was a good chance to get a look at the beauty items that are going to sell out this Chrimbo.
Yes, Christmas. In July.

Top of my wish list is this really beautiful, round Betty Jackson coffret, £40, which has a lovely 1940's look.
An absolute winner, but it won't be in store until September.

PS While I was at the event, I found out Lisa Snowden contacted the PR girls behind the Xmas launch and asked them to send her some early Christmas beauty goodies from the showcase. I like a girl who likes a bargain.
No wonder she looks so pleased with herself.

Have A Heart for Charity

You may have seen pictures of actress Emma Watson sporting a tattoo at Glastonbury?
Well it turns out the clean-cut actress was only using a transfer.
Ho ho, naughty, Emma, what a wizard idea!
Still her Mother Lover fake tat was all in the name of sweet, sweet charidee so I am not going to knock her or her stupidly over-priced £945 Glasto Louboutin boots.
To be fair, if Louboutin wanted to send me some of those I would wear them too.
Emma, plus Sienna Miller, Will Young and Henry Holland, was supporting The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood with the heart transfer. The charity raises international awareness of the nearly 600 000 women who die each year of pregnancy-related complications worldwide.

Emma and Will were not alone in her choice of tat. The WRA tattoos were also seen on the arms, hands and even chests of other celebrity supporters including Jarvis Cocker, Edith Bowman, Pixie Geldof, Florence (and the Machine) and Carol Voderman.
Vorderman? At Glastonbury? You can count on it.
Here she is, back in the day....before she went vegetable detox cerazeee
